On November 19, 2019, Supervisory Board of the national contest “Youth Capital of Ukraine” determined the finalists of the competition. Representatives of the National Youth Council of Ukraine participated in the meeting too.
Thus, 10 cities from across Ukraine are putting themselves forward to compete for the prestigious titles of “Youth Capital of Ukraine – 2020”.
The “Youth Capital of Ukraine” is an annual title awarded to empower young people and boost youth participation and strengthen.
The cities are (in alphabetical order):
- Chernivtsi.
- Ivano-Frankivsk
- Kharkiv
- Khmelnytskyi
- Kremenchuk
- Mykolaiv
- Odesa
- Ternopil
- Uman
- Vinnytsia
We are grateful to everybody who participated in the competition, as well as the regional coordinators who helped to distribute information about the competition and conduct meetings in their cities to fill out the application with the authorities, NGOs and active young people?
The final stage of the competition will take place on December 10, during which delegates from the finalist cities together with the representatives of the city council and youth will argue why their city should become the Youth Capital of Ukraine in 2020?
