European Youth Capital Award Ceremony 2022

November 21, 2019,  Amiens, European Youth Capital 2020, welcomed a large number of active young people, not only from France but from all over Europe.

The reason for this was the European Youth Capital Award Ceremony 2022

French President, Emmanuel Macron also joined the event and encouraged all young people in Europe to take action to shape the future and protect the values of freedom and democracy. He also expressed pride at his hometown, the city of Amiens, that will take the title of European Youth Capital next year in 2020. Frédérique Vidal, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, Gabriel Attal, Minister of National Education and Youth and Brigitte Fouré, Mayor of Amiens also attended the ceremony.

Representatives of the National Youth Council of Ukraine as follows: Julian Kritsak, Natalia Shevchuk, and Andriy Kolobov were also at the award ceremony and could see everything with their own eyes.

The city of Tirana, Albania has been announced as the next winner of the European Youth Capital (EYC) title.  

The General Assembly of the European Youth Forum was held in Amiens for the next two days (November 22-23)  and part of the NYCU team was also there
During the General Assembly, we felt one more step closer to the status of full member in the European Youth Forum. This thought inspires and motivates us to work even better and more efficiently to achieve our goal.
