On November 30 – December 1, the first module of the National Training “Effective Youth Participation: 1.0 Participation is…” was held in Kyiv
Within 2 days, participants from different parts of Ukraine learned about the term “participation” and its examples, got acquainted with the ladder of participation and with the mastery of the future. In addition, there were many interesting activities and energizers. In the evening of the first day, there was networking with NYCU, where the participants were informally talking and meeting other active youth.
We were also joined by Nora Corte, DRA’s Project Coordinator for Education and Youth, who spent the entire second day with the participants and was able to talk even more about the “We Can Do More” project
In general, the two-day training appealed to everyone, especially the window view on downtown, which opened from 24 floors. It was even better to work this way.
And the best news is that the team will meet two more times to further develop and implement their own projects.
The trainers of the training were: NYCU Chairman Julian Kritsak, NYCU Board Members: Alena Popova and Viktor Kovalenko, who were training for trainers in Tbilisi, Georgia, 22-29 from the DRA where our trainers learned the best practices of a German professor in partisanship decisions) by Waldemar Stange.
The project “We can do more! For active participation of young people in Eastern Europe” is implemented by the National Youth Council of Ukraine in cooperation with the DRA with the financial support of Auswärtiges Amt.
