National Youth Council of Ukraine has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports

On May 14, 2020, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Public Union “National Youth Council of Ukraine” and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine

Vadim Gytzait, Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, Maryna Popatenko, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, representatives of the Department of Youth Policy, Julian Kritsak, Chairman of the National Youth Council of Ukraine and Natalia Shevchuk, Secretary General of the Union took part in the signing.

🤝The parties declared their readiness to develop cooperation in the direction of strengthening international cooperation to represent the interests and needs of Ukrainian youth in the international arena, in particular within the institutions of the Council of Europe, the European Union, the European Youth Forum.

An important focus is the promotion among young people of the Sustainable Development Goals and the implementation of initiatives aimed at achieving them;

🗯 The National Youth Council of Ukraine is a partner of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in implementing various programs and initiatives for youth, including the national competition “Youth Capital of Ukraine”, the international initiative “Community friendly to children and youth” and expanding the network of quality youth information services. through the support of the Eurodesk Ukraine mechanism, – said Vadym Gutzayt.

💭For his part, Yulian Kritsak remarked: “This memorandum consolidates long-term cooperation for the development of Ukraine’s youth, and it is at the partnership level that even greater results can be achieved. The idea of ​​”no solution for youth, without youth” will always be relevant and our role as a youth platform will make every effort to ensure that the voice of young people is properly represented and heard in a constructive dialogue by the state. ”

The National Youth Council is a unique platform that unites more than one hundred and fifty youth NGOs and has 18 separate regional units. The platform is designed to represent and protect the civil, political, social and economic rights of Ukrainian youth, to expand opportunities for personal development and active participation of young people in socio-political life. 💜
