On February 3-4, the General Assembly of the National Youth Council of Ukraine adopted position papers – the voice of young people about the development of Ukraine!<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Youth leaders from all regions of Ukraine, representatives of more than 80 youth organizations gathered in Kyiv to discuss important issues and form their position for the state and society on the topics of development of youth policy in Ukraine! Also, NYCUkraine is a member of the European Youth Forum. Ville Majamaa \u2013 Board Member of the YFJ, came to the GA to discuss the topic of integration of Ukraine into the European community in the field of youth policy. National Youth Council of Germany – Lisa Meier (Chairperson), NYC Poland – Adam Smuga (Member of the Board), NYC Belarus – Ales Krot (Chairman), NYC Austria – Derai Al Nuaimi (Chairman) came to the GA of NYCUkraine to share experience in their countries and discuss prospects of Ukraine for the future cooperation and European integration. Representative of the executive government, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, Oleksandr Yarema took part in the panel discussions. Representatives of the OSCE, U-Report (UNICEF), DOBRE participated in discussions and presented their work in Ukraine, which could be useful for youth organizations in their work.
\nOn February 3, the Chairman and members of the Board of the NYCUkraine presented the results of work of NYCUkraine, the branches of NYCUkraine presented their work, youth NGOs presented their projects 2017 and priorities for 2018.Also, 2 new members of the NYCUkraine were elected: Olena Bilanina, Svyatoslav Lyndyuk and 1 Member of the CRC: Lyudmyla Petrukhan-Shcherbakova.
\nNYCUkraine presented and discussed with all the participants of the GA the plans for 2018, approved them in a democratic way.
\nRepresentatives of the European Youth Forum, Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, Eurodeask, NYCUkraine discussed international opportunities for youth. Namely, the work of Eurodesk in Ukraine, an information platform on more than 300 different programs and opportunities for young people. In addition, the OSCE presented its own youth projects. Thank you to the partners for the dialogue and interesting ideas.
\nThe youth representatives developed the position papers while working in the groups: “Civic Education”, “Youth Policy in Ukraine in Conditions of Decentralization”, “Inclusive Ukraine”, “Qualitative Internship for Medical Students of Ukraine”, “Youth and Children Friendly City”.
\nOn the 3d of February there was celebration of  3 years of work of NYCUkraine since the establishment.
\nThe second day of the General Assembly began with a lively discussion on advocacy and lobbying of youth issues together with political youth organizations.
\nPolitical and non-political youth organizations began a dialogue in a civilized European way. MP, Head of the Youth Wing of Samopomich – Olena Sotnyk and Deputy Head of Solidarna Molod – Andriy Glyvka, Board member of Youth of Democratic Alliance \u2013 Ihor Dubrovskyi  actively participated in panel discussion together with Representatives of the National Youth Councils of Poland, Germany and Austria that also shared their experience of working with political youth organizations in their countries.
\nIt became a good start for a difficult decision, to give political youth organizations the right to join NYCUkraine equally and to create the 3rd Chamber in the NYCUkraine for Political Youth Organizations that was approved by the GA of NYCUkraine. We remind that the first chamber of NYCUkraine consists of representatives of All-Ukrainian youth organizations and the second unites the Branches of NYCUkraine that consist of regional and local youth NGOs.<\/p>\n
